Elderly won’t have to sell their homes to fund care… if they make one-off payment of £8,000, say Tories

Shadow Chancellor George Osborne revealed that pensioners will be invited to pay an £8,000 lump sum when they reach 65 to guarantee they will not need to sell their homes.
