Samantha Harris apologized for phoning less than two minutes late for our interview. And she meant it. Minutes mean a lot these days for Harris, on hiatus from her co-hosting duties on “Dancing With the Stars.” For the past four weeks, she has been in New York, preparing for her Broadway debut as Roxie in “Chicago” (yesterday through Aug. 16) while continuing as a daily correspondent for TV’s “The Insider” and communicating long distance with her family (financier husband Michael Hess and their 21-month-old daughter, Josselyn) back home in L.A.
