Turns out that South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, pictured, was taking a hike on his marriage, not the Appalachian Trail. We already have been bombarded with entirely too much information about this tawdry affair (has anyone ever had a non-tawdry affair?), but this much is clear: The dalliance has a ready-made theme song.
