PAGCOR sues 2 firms in illegal Internet game

AFTER almost defaulting due to technicality, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. can now sue the two firms that conducted illegal Internet gambling activities at the Clark Special Economic Zone.      In 2007, PAGCOR and the National Bureau of Investigation raided the Transglobal Airways Corporation and British Grand Vision Company, Inc., which posed as air freight operator and software developer, respectively, and seized various gambling equipment and other paraphernalia.     However, the City Prosecutor Office in Angeles City, Pampanga dismissed the case filed by PAGCOR on the grounds that Internet gambling is not punishable under Anti-Illegal gambling…
