Pet Chimp Shot Dead By Police

STAMFORD, Conn. — A pet chimpanzee was fatally shot by police after leaving a woman in critical condition in a violent attack at a Stamford home Monday. The attack occurred at the Rockrimmon Road home of the animal’s owner just before 4 p.m., police said.
