WASHINGTON – Eric Holder Jr. has told his confirmation hearing that the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba will be closed. But he says it won’t be easy. The nominee for attorney general said Thursday the key question is what to do with the prisoners. Holder also said he and Barack Obama are disturbed by what they’ve heard about harsh interrogation techniques. Holder said he has spoken to military officials involved in interrogations, and believes some of the advanced techniques do not produce good intelligence.
